We are looking for someone with at least 3 years relevant post admission experience as a legal practitioner and who is eligible for a current practicing certificate as a barrister in Queensland.
This role is part of the Public Defenders Chambers and will provide opportunity:

- For professional growth within a supportive environment
- To expand on your experience by undertaking advocacy in District Court (sentences) in Brisbane and in regional District Court circuits
- To develop competent research skills and a system of updating legal knowledge, and
- To contribute to improvements to the legal aid and criminal justice systems.
