Salary: $59,553 - $66,938 p.a. plus 10.5% Super

**About the role**
This is a
**permanent**,
**full-time**, Monday to Friday 7.00am to 4.00pm position working
**38 hours** per week. Located at the
**Ulladulla Water Depot**.

**Duties**
Reporting directly to the Supervisor - Wastewater Distribution South, the focus of this position is to:

- Supports a work group within Council to enable Council to function at an optimal level.
- Communicate with Operations personnel and Supervisors to ensure workflow is maintained at expected standards.
- Communicate in a clear and concise manner, coaches and provide constructive feedback.
- Responsible for the day to day direction and control of Water/Wastewater Attendants and temporary staff working from the treatment plant, including coaching and on the job training.
- Provide direction to contractors employed on behalf of Shoalhaven Water (eg underbores and excavators).
- Scheduled maintenance of water reticulation system (including hydrant maintenance).
- Construction of water reticulation systems and connecting of new services.

**Skills & Experience**
In order to be successful in the position, you will be/ possess:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the maintenance and construction of wastewater or water systems
- Current Confined Spaces Entry Certificate
- Current WorkSafe First Aid Certificate
- Current WorkSafe Construction Induction Certificate
- Current Traffic Controller Certificate
- Proof of Australian residency or citizenship, or the right to work in Australia (visa)
