Following exciting growth plans, we currently have a Powder Coater / Labourer position available to join our team in Carole Park.

***About the role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Surface Preparation**: Assist in preparing surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, and sanding as necessary.
- ** Rack Handling**: Hang and unhang items on racks for the powder coating process.
- ** Equipment Maintenance**: Operate and maintain powder coating equipment, including spray guns, booths, and curing ovens under supervision.
- ** Quality Inspection**: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- ** Repairs and Touch-ups**: Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed.
- ** Work Area Maintenance**: Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- ** Safety Compliance**: Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- ** Record Keeping**: Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- ** Loading and Wrapping**: Load and wrap metalwork kits on pallets for shipment.
- ** Team Collaboration**: Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.

**BreatheSafe Hours of Work**
- 5.30am - 2.45pm Monday to Thursday
- 5.30am - 11.30am Friday
- Every second Friday off (long weekend)

**About you**:
This position is ideally suited to someone who is enthusiastic, self-motivated and a quick learner.

***Qualifications**:

- No prior experience necessary; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to powder coating is a plus.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous.
- Holding a current forklift licence preferred but not necessary.
