Skid Steer Operator

Salary: $54,588 - $61,358 p.a. plus 10.5% Super

**About the role**
This is a
**permanent**,
**full-time**, Monday to Friday 7.00am to 4.00pm position working
**38 hours** per week. Located at the
**Bomaderry Works Depot**.

**Duties**
Reporting directly to the Team Supervisor - Central Maintenance, the focus of this position is to:

- Supervises and supports a work group within Council to enable Council to function at an optimal level.
- Exhibits positive behaviours by showing initiative, taking responsibility for self and work group actions, and referring issues of ethics and probity.
- Communicates in a clear and concise manner, coaches and provides constructive feedback.
- Supports continuous improvement by identifying improvements to processes and practices and supporting change.
- Contributes to work area planning and prioritises workloads to meet deadlines.
- Impacts positively on the external image and perception of Council with regards to customer service and workplace behaviour.

**Skills & Experience**
In order to be successful in the position, you will be/ possess:

- School Certificate or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in operating minor and major plant and/or light trucks including skid steer/bobcat.
- Demonstrated experience in civil construction and/or maintenance activities.
- Class MR Licence
- Evidence of training and/or experience operating skid steer/bobcat
- Current National WHS Construction Induction Card - (CIC) issued by WorkCover.
- Proof of Australian residency or citizenship.
