Working exclusively in retail forwarding, our client maintains a balance of Airfreight and Seafreight shipments. Modern systems and office layout create a strong culture with stability in staff.**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Working within the operations team. The position of Export Operator (Air & Sea) is a hands-on role with the responsibility of a portfolio of accounts. Working in a small group of operators who work autonomously with various customers and tradelanes. The position manages shipments from the order through to departure. Staff must be self-motivated and proactive.**DUTIES**
- Ensure all orders are handled from the order through to POD
- Complete export bookings for both air and seafreight
- Work with internal and external suppliers to build strong relationships
- Ensure compliance and report back to clients with potential delays
- Ensure full costing and invoicing are accurate for each file

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- 2 years experience in forwarding export operations
- Previous exposure to either air or sea export (alternate deficit on experience can be trained)
- Exposure to working closely with key clients
- Demonstrated ability to maintain commercial relationships
- Strong CW1 exposure looked upon strongly
