**Your new role**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Desk Technician to join our IT Team in a permanent full-time role.

The Service Desk Technician is also responsible for maintaining high levels of incident ownership through the incident lifecycle to a satisfactory conclusion. You will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration, ensuring excellent IT support is being seamlessly delivered to Knox Council.

This is a Band 5 classified role, remuneration will be $75,948 - $88,363 (depending on experience) plus 10% superannuation.

**What you will need to thrive**

The key selection criteria for this role are:

- Excellent oral and written communication
- Passion for Customer Service
- Background in IT troubleshooting (network and desktop)
- Understanding of ITIL
- Excellent understanding of Incident and Problem management process
- Striving to continuously improve knowledgebase and processes
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with excellent prioritization skills
