Main responsibilities
The Principal Project Officer, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education (Identified) supports the implementation of the Queensland kindergarten learning guideline, P-10 Australian Curriculum and Senior Syllabuses by providing quality advice to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment to teachers and other stakeholders throughout the education sector in Queensland.

**In this role, you will**:

- Participate in project teams to provide policy advice, develop resources and professional learning related to the implementation of the Queensland kindergarten learning guideline, P-10 Australian Curriculum Version 9.0, and Senior Syllabuses.
- Develop and revise resources, and plan and present professional development to support schools to implement the K-12 curriculum and assessment and embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives.
- Provide expert advice to Managers and the Director on issues related to curriculum, teaching and learning and assessment, including prepare briefings and correspondence.
- Deliver projects within timelines, using allocated
- Consult with and engage a range of stakeholders to inform the development of curriculum, advice, resources, and professional learning.
- Contribute to a change management and performance development culture by participating in regular two-way feedback discussions with your manager and colleagues, and through the implementation of an individual Performance and Development Plan (PDP).
- Undertake specific tasks as required to assist the QCAA in achieving its business outcomes, including using data to inform decisions.
