We support jobseekers, and service providers through quality employment-focused counselling, training, coaching and vocational assessments to obtain pathways to successful and sustainable employment.

**The Role**

We are currently recruiting across Illawarra, South Coast and also looking to fill Western Sydney Locations we are seeking passionate and qualified counsellors, social workers and psychologists. The position involves:

- Providing professional counselling services to clients (Jobseekers) with complex barriers towards employment. Counselling will involve appropriately assessing our client's needs and concerns across a variety of different impact areas including: mental health, trauma, addiction, behavioural management, family and relationship issues. Clinicians will also be expected to consider and recommend appropriate therapeutic interventions, follow-up support, liaison and/or referral with other professional services.
- Implementing said appropriate strategies and intervention plans addressing the identified barriers towards employment.
- Providing appropriate advice and recommendations to Employment Service agencies as required.
- Maintaining accurate and consistent case notes.
- Complying with company policies and procedures as well as industry regulatory requirements.

The following are core requirements of the role:

- Degree qualified with a minimum of a Bachelor's in Psychology, Counselling or Social Work.
- Full Registration with your peak industry body inclusive of: AHPRA, ACA, PACFA, ASORC or AASW.
- Experience in clinical and counselling interventions, with an ability to liaise and support service providers.
- Ability to work competently and independently with a diverse and complex case load.
- Ability to create meaningful connections and trusting relationships with all stakeholders.
- Proven oral and written communication skills including demonstrated experience writing comprehensive reports, correspondence and intervention plans.
- Must be willing to travel to different locations within your region.
- Access to a laptop with internet connectivity.
- Must have your own Professional Indemnity Insurance.
- Must be willing to undertake both a Federal Police Check and Working with Children check.
- It would be advantageous to have an understanding of best practice principles and experience in providing critical incident management interventions.
