El 1 - Contract Manager

**The Role**
Military Platform Integration (MPI) currently have two Contract Manager positions available that will manage and provide direction, assistance and services relating to procurement, commercial and financial management in order to support contract management outcomes. The Contract Managers will be required to undertake duties including, but not limited to;
- Developing, implementing and reviewing policies and procedures contractual, commercial and/or financial.
- Monitoring and managing contract administration, vendor performance and commercial and delivery risks.
- Engaging, negotiating and persuading clients and stakeholders when responding to financial enquiries and contract management issues.
- Managing financial management activities including the coordination and development of estimates reviews and budget plans, financial project reporting and analysis, and exercising financial delegation.

The additional payment is a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP) which enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the rate of salary otherwise payable under the Enterprise Agreement (EA) to some or all of the jobs within a critical occupation(s) or discipline within a workplace. Applicants engaged into a BDCP position must consider the following. BDCPs provide remuneration in addition to the Defence Enterprise Agreement (EA).

**About our Team**
Military Platform Integration (MPI) manages a program approach to the delivery of ICT capability for major capital works such as those defined in the Integrated Investment Plan (IIP).

- Be experienced in the coordination and management of specialist advice including procurement, commercial and/or financial
- Build and sustain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Exercise sound decision making and judgement
