**About the role**

TAFE NSW is looking for a qualified, experienced individual for a full-time permanent Teaching opportunity in Hairdressing at our Sutherland-Gymea Campus. You will have to opportunity to share your knowledge and inspire an engaged cohort of students. A typical day will include not only teaching but also administrative tasks utilising various platforms and systems.

**About you**:
You will love this position if you like to share your passion in the Hairdressing industry and have a minimum of three (3) years post trade industry experience. You are ready to educate a team of passionate students from a range of backgrounds to achieve their personal and work goals whilst developing and implementing an educational plan. Along with your proven administration skills and demonstrated ability in communication you are able to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.

**You will have the following essential requirements**:

- Hold the SHB30416 Certificate III in Hairdressing, or equivalent.

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent.
- Comprehensive current knowledge of the industry and job roles and strong understanding of current trends and diversity within the Hairdressing sector.
