Recruitment Coordinator

This position provides contact, information and partnering with services for the Early Childhood Education Traineeship Project. The role is to attract services to the program and recruit trainees, across the state, facilitating the matching and the onboarding process and provide support throughout the traineeship cycle under the guidelines of the Victorian Government’s Department of Training and Education.

The role is responsible for working professionally at all levels and relevant stakeholders including employers, students and relevant training providers to deliver an integrated support service as well as being a key and active participant of the Early Childhood Education business area, providing support to students working in the designated zone that Chisholm manages.

The Recruitment Coordinator will:

- Market and promote traineeships and recruit trainees for employers across the state
- Develop professional relationships, networks and other support systems necessary to facilitate traineeship outcomes
- Connect with employers by matching workers who are looking for a traineeship in early childhood
- Assist businesses to identify current skill needs and identify employment opportunities

The position is not confined to one campus and is required to travel throughout the state as needed and is to provide support services as required by the operations of the business.

**ABOUT YOU**

You will have a relevant qualification or a combination of lower-level qualifications and extensive experience as well as the following:

- Highly developed communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with students and staff at all levels and from a range of backgrounds
- Experience in relationship building including identification, evaluation and implementation of communication and engagement strategies for different groups of people that reflect their unique situation
- Demonstrated experience in the planning and provision of employment services, activities and programs
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and cooperatively as part of a team, including the ability to self-monitor work requirements and achieve deadlines
- Prior experience within a recruitment role and experience within a Business Development or Early Childhood Traineeship Delivery setting
