Summary
The Buffet Attendant is responsible primarily for maintaining buffet items. As a Buffet Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our renowned buffet.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensuring the buffet stations are fully stocked, clean, and visually appealing at all times.
- Monitoring the quality and temperature of the food items, making timely replenishments as needed.
- Assist guests with their selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintaining a safe and organized work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborating with the culinary team to provide feedback and suggestions for menu improvements.
- Maintaining and cleaning the buffet services according to standards.
- Accomplishing all assigned cleaning, stocking, and maintenance tasks.
- Answering any guest questions about the menu items, daily specials and beverages, including knowledge of the ingredients, preparation methods and garnishes.
- Preparing foods, such as fruit, juices, cereals, bread, hot foods, and replenishing food on hot/cold buffets.
- Ensuring that the breakfast buffet remains well-stocked at all times.
- Receiving beverage orders and directing these to the kitchen, as needed.
- Providing customers with condiments upon request.
- After the Buffet is closed clean the buffet area and organize it.
- After the buffet hours be able to help in the restaurant service.

**Qualifications**:
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- A desire to exceed guest's expectations.
- Refined verbal communication skills.
- Able to speak English and Spanish.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing position, preferably in a buffet or catering environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of the buffet area.
- Stands and walk moderate to long distances throughout shifts.
- The ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight is necessary.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
