Our south west Sydney multidisciplinary team have an opportunity available for you to use your considerable experience in providing support to people with behaviours of concern in a more structured and impactful way.

As an entry level Behaviour Support Practitioner you will learn how to...
- Support NDIS participants, along with their families and/or carers, to identify their needs through assessment and person-centred planning
- Develop behaviour support plans to include meaningful goals and practical strategies as per the positive behaviour support capability framework, with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices, in the home and community
- Ensure individual plans reflect participants' goals, passions and strengths
- Develop, deliver and evaluate evidence-based support plans within a complex support space
- Build the knowledge, capacity and strengths of those who support participants in their lives - family, carers, friends, etc
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

**About you**
- Considerable experience in supporting people with complex needs and challenging behaviours
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication, written and verbal, skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Genuine passion for working in the disability sector and learning all there is to know about providing positive behaviour supports
- Solution focus, proactive attitude, and motivated by improvement as well as the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas
- Looking for a fun, collaborative and supportive work environment

**Qualifications**
- Degree qualified in an allied health discipline
