**The Opportunity**:
As a Substation Supervisor, you'll be the custodian of several ElectraNet substations, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Imagine becoming the "go-to" expert, providing invaluable insights and fostering strong relationships across the entire power network. - Take ownership of critical assets and ensuring their maintenance to the highest standards.
- Identify potential issues early and taking decisive action to prevent disruptions.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of a vital infrastructure that powers thousands of homes and businesses.
**About You**:
We are looking for experienced high voltage electricians with a sound technical background and stakeholder engagement skills to be the custodians of Substations across the Riverland and Metro region of the State.
In addition to this, you:
- Possess a deep understanding of high-voltage substations and can navigate complex operational procedures with ease.
- Have an unwavering commitment to safety, adhering to strict protocols and fostering a culture of risk awareness.
- Excel at identifying potential issues early, taking decisive action to minimize risks and optimise performance.
- Thrive in a collaborative environment, fostering open communication and driving collective success.
Bonus points if you have:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in maintaining or constructing high-voltage substations.
- A flexible approach to working hours, including occasional after-hours commitments.
- An Electrical Workers License and/or a CAT 2 Switching License.
- An Associate Diploma in Electrical Engineering or higher.
