**About the role**

TAFE NSW is looking for individuals with current **industry experience** and knowledge in **School Based Education and Care **to join our vibrant team of Teachers in this exciting casual opportunity at our Campbelltown, Bankstown, Nepean, Nirimba and Miller Campus’.

The role of the TAFE Teacher as a professional educator is to **help, construct, guide** and **enhance** the educative process. The teacher delivers educational programs and **facilitates learning**, enabling students to **achieve their desired outcomes**.

**About you**

You are passionate about sharing your extensive industry experience in School Based Education and Care. You have the ambition and drive to succeed and mentor students, and have demonstrated experience in delivering training in an adult learning environment. You are a great team player who strives for success in all aspects of your day-to-day activities.

**Your Day to Day**
- Teach students face-to-face in classrooms and online
- Support students 1:1
- Issue, mark and provide feedback on assessments
- Student administration, including marking registers and recording results
- Maintain relationships with local industry and employers
- Stay current with industry practice

**WE would love to hear from you if you can meet the following selection criteria**:

- Minimum Degree in Primary or Secondary teaching.
- Have a minimum of three (3) years post-qualification experience in industry in a regulated school based education or primary/secondary service, gained no longer than 5 years previously, or equivalent demonstrable currency.
- Hold a Certificate IV TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent.
- Able to demonstrate preparedness to continue to develop your Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
