**About the role**:
As a Product Owner at Officeworks, you will play a crucial role in providing clear direction to your squad, aligning their work with Officeworks' growth segment. Your primary responsibilities will include defining success metrics, managing the squad's backlog, and ensuring the achievement of well-defined goals. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing critical milestones, risks, and issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and advocating for the customer and best practices. This role operates in a hybrid way of working from our Chadstone based support office.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Create and maintain the squad's backlog, balancing initiative work, BAU, and maintenance tasks.
- Elaborate milestones and features into epics and user stories.
- Convey the vision and goals to the squad and ensure alignment and progress.
- Continuously engage with customers and stakeholders, incorporating feedback into iterative improvements.
- Coordinate with Technology Leads and Product Owners to manage dependencies, issues, and blockers.
- Actively participate in ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Showcases, and Retrospective ceremonies.
- Report on squad outcomes and performance for continuous improvement.

**About you**:
Ideally you will have experience in the following:
**Equipment Operated/Technology Used**:

- JIRA, Confluence (high level of competency required)
- Axure, InVision
- Mural or similar tools (e.g., Miro)
- Microsoft Office suite
- Internal systems (SAP R1P/BW, ONet, ServiceNow)
- Adobe Analytics or similar analytics products

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Formal Education:

- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) - desirable
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Business and/or IT and/or project and/or software engineering related discipline - desirable
- Work Experience:

- 4+ years of experience in a Product Owner role preferred
- Experience working with blended digital onshore & offshore teams
