- Salary: $80,488 - $121,202 p.a. (Pro Rata) MDP2 | Full Time, Until February 2025

As the Anaesthesia Provisional Fellow, you will provide professional clinical anaesthesia and related duties to the inpatients/outpatients of SALHN according to the relevant standards set by ANZCA and SA Health. You may be required to work within other locations of the SALHN and some out of hour’s work may be required.

Prospective provisional fellows must have satisfied college criteria (ANZCA) for appointment as a Provisional Fellow, as at the commencement of the Provisional Fellowship position. Given that applicants will often be sitting examinations after positions are offered, we assume that any pending exams will be successfully completed when considering offers of positions.

The Flinders Medical Centre Anaesthetic Department will be offering Provisional Fellowship positions for the 2024 training year (05/02/2024 - 02/02/2025) in the following areas:
1. Cardiothoracic
2. Obstetrics
3. Hepatobiliary / Liver Transplantation
4. Vascular
5. Regional
6. Simulation / Medical Teaching
7. Neuroanaesthesia
8. General Training in anaesthesia

These Provisional Fellowship positions are offered as 6-month rotations and are available for 6 or 12 month periods.

Applicants should include the following in their submission:

- Cover letter - explaining what you hope to get out of your preferred PFY positions and how it will complement your pre-existing training and future consultant practice. Also outline what strengths / interests you may bring into the department.
- Listed order of preference for the 8 PF positions (listed 1 through 8)
