Food & Beverage Wait Staff

Waitperson (Food and Beverage Attendant Grade 2)

As requested Main Duties:

- Undertaking general waiting duties
- Cleaning and clearing tables
- Picking up glasses and removing food plates
- Cleaning and care of crockery, glasses and equipment
- Assisting in preparation and closure of service areas
- Practising proper workplace health and safety procedures
- Cleaning and tidying or associated areas
- Other incidental and peripheral duties as requested
- Respond to customer requests in a professional and timely manner
- Offer appropriate and relevant assistance to customers
- Make customers feel welcome
- Be aware of and actively promote products and services available
- Assist in maintaining customer service
- Work closely with all staff team
- Follow all lawful and reasonable directions from your manager/supervisor
- Attend and actively participate in training programs as required by the Employer
- Maintain current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification

Key Selection Criteria:

- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Demonstrated ability to work under supervision and in a busy environment
- Demonstrated ability to communicate politely and effectively with others including staff, management and customers
- Well presented and groomed

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $21.97 - $35.68 per hour

Schedule:

- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Maleny, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
