**Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Foster a positive, safe, and efficient work environment to meet departmental targets.
- Oversee daily workshop operations, ensuring vehicles and equipment are safe, compliant, and mechanically sound.
- Manage team staffing levels, performance, and training, ensuring alignment with company safety and service goals.
- Coordinate with internal customers to meet vehicle and equipment availability requirements.
- Maintain accurate and efficient paperwork processes.
- Control workshop and fleet cost centre budgets.
- Participate in operations meetings and report weekly to the Area Manager.
- Implement Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives to optimize workshop processes.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge
- Proven ability to supervise and motivate personnel
- Excellent organisation and planning skills
- Ability to comply with company procedures and policies
- Heavy Diesel Mechanic Transport Trade Qualification
