Collins Executive Recruitment has been exclusively selected by Gandel Invest to appoint an Investment Analyst.

**About**
Gandel Invest is a prominent family office based in Melbourne with a strong history in the Australian business community. The family office makes direct and indirect investments in technology-enabled businesses across various sectors, including Climate, E-Sports, Disability Services, Financial Services, Retail, Hospitality, Sports & Entertainment, Travel and Web 3.0. They also invest in property funding, property developments and funds management businesses.

Due to growth, a newly created position has opened for a talented analyst to join their growing investment team.

Upon successful hire, your role will involve working closely with the investment manager(s) to source, assess, and recommend investment opportunities. This will include research, due diligence, financial analysis, financial modelling, writing investment reports and recommendations, transaction execution and portfolio management.

This role represents a rare opportunity to join a growing family office with a broad and flexible investment mandate, a flat team structure, excellent learning and mentorship opportunities and the opportunity to learn about and invest in exciting growth companies.

**Upon successful hire, you will**:

- Assist the investment manager(s) in sourcing investment opportunities. This may include managing relationships with banks, investment houses, accounting firms, technology companies and private equity groups.
- Conduct industry research on sectors where the family office is considering investing, gaining insights into trends and forecasts.
- Complete financial & market due diligence (including modelling & engaging external consultants) to evaluate opportunities. This will include preparing a written investment memorandum to be presented to and discussed with the Investment Committee.
- Assist with deal negotiations, structuring, and execution of any transaction. This will also include reviewing all transaction documents.
- Monitor each Investment’s performance and provide quarterly updates.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external parties to encourage the continued evolution of the family office.
- Attend conferences and forums to stay updated with industry developments.
- Undertake training to increase proficiency in finance practices.
- A bachelor’s degree, ideally in finance, accounting or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience gained in professional services, corporate advisory, investment management, management consulting or a related field.
- A keen interest in business, entrepreneurship, finance & investment.
- Excellent communication and rapport-building skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and work ethic.
- Australian PR or Citizenship.

The office is located at 209 Toorak Road, South Yarra. You’ll have the flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days per week if no meetings are scheduled in the office.
