UGL's Manufacturing and Maintenance business are on the search for a highly experienced **HSE Advisor** join the team, located at our Bassendean facility.
**About your role**

Your role will support the Senior Operations Manager to facilitate effective implementation of HSE, Rail Safety, Workers’ Compensation & Injury Management and Environmental processes and systems.
Reporting to the _Senior Operations Manager_, your duties will include:

- Assist in developing and delivering improvement initiatives
- Advise and coach Operational Managers, Supervisors and Workers regarding achieving compliance and best practice for WHS, Workers’
- Compensation & Injury Management, Rail Safety and Environmental matters
- Provide HSE Assurance and due diligence support, including undertaking internal audits and facilitating external audits
- Lead or review Incident Investigations, as required

**About you**

You will have demonstrated experience in a Health & Safety role within the Construction, Infrastructure or any high-risk industry.
To be successful in the role, you will also have the following skills & experience:

- Tertiary Qualification (Diploma or greater) in a Workplace Safety and Health related discipline preferred
- Lead Auditor qualification qualificationsl in AS4801 or equivalent
- Incident Investigation Trained (ICAM preferable)
- Experience with managing regulatory stakeholder relationships
- Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally
