Qualified Mechanical Fitter or Trade Assistant

Matraville Location
- 6am-2:30pm Monday-Fridays
- $45-48/h

We are searching for an experienced Maintenance Fitter or Trade Assistant to join our vibrant team.

In this role, you will carry out maintenance for any plant breakdowns, contribute to weekly/monthly/shutdown plans, and monitor mechanical stock.

The site is a licensed
**Major Hazard Facility** and is managed under a rigorous safety management system, ensuring employees are protected.

This role is a Monday-Friday day shift opportunity, and this is a site-based role in Matraville.

**Your skills & experience**
- Trade qualified in Fitting (Mechanical)
- Previous experience in a Chemical Plant or Refinery
- Prior experience in a heavy industry environment
- Computer literacy and an understanding of modern computerised maintenance systems
- CMMS usage
- Fault finding and problem-solving skills
- Enthusiasm, intelligence, dedication, and an eye for detail
- WHS Safety Conscious including tickets such as: Confined Space, EWP, White Card, etc
