Spatial Technician

**Temporary full time role up to 12 months**
**Departmental Officer Grade 3/4 (base salary ranges from $79.032 - $86,539)**
**Location: Bathurst (hybrid working arrangements)**
**The role**
**Key accountabilities**:
- Assist in identifying options for system and process improvements
- Maintain records and security of information
- Work collaboratively in a team and complete activities in a timely and effective manner
- Use initiative and problem-solving skills to investigate solutions to data anomalies and to identify improvements to processes and procedures
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
**To be successful in this role**:
- You will require TAFE Certificate IV in Spatial Information Services or equivalent and/or recognised industry experience.
- Sound computer skills and demonstrated knowledge and experience in the use of GIS software for capture and maintenance of digital data.
