Placemaking NSW (PMNSW) is responsible for Sydney’s most historically and culturally significant waterfront locations. From high street luxury brands to emerging designers this role provides an opportunity to combine your passion for retail and heritage design across a broad spectrum of tenancies in The Rocks | Tallawoladah.**The Opportunity**:

- A Senior Retail Designer (Architect or Interior Architect) or experienced Retail Design Manager employed by CBRE to join the Placemaking NSW team as a Retail Design Manager with a focus on ‘The Rocks’ and potential scope to include Darling Harbour and Circular Quay
- The key tenant contact for design and implementation of tenancy fitouts, advocating design excellence & compliance PMNSW Heritage and Design strategies and guidelines.
- Improve Customer (Tenant) service by assisting them through the tenancy fitout process
- Supporting tenants and collaborating with all stakeholders in establishing design excellence outcomes, ensuring time and quality controls are met
- To have positive impact on the city fabric focussing on the heritage character, vibrancy and revitalisation of this special area The Rocks | Tallawoladah.

- Extensive experience as a Senior Retail Designer or Retail Design Manager
- Degree in Architecture or Interior Design or similar, with heritage experience
- Proficiency in InDesign & Adobe creative suite (essential), AutoCAD & Revit (desirable)
- Excellent working knowledge of Australian standards and the ability to implement existing design guidelines
- A collaborative approach and supportive communication style
