**About Your Next Opportunity**:
We now have an opportunity for a full-time** Pathology Specimen Collector** to join our Pathology Collection team in our Warwick Collection Centre.
You will work shifts between 7:00 am and 4:30 pm from Monday to Friday, for a minimum of 75 hours per fortnight. You will be also be required to participate in a rotating roster for a shift on Saturday 7:00 am - 11:30 am. NO Sunday work.
**Your primary responsibility will be taking blood samples from patients and maintaining positive relationships with external clients, GPs, and Medical Centre staff.**
Some of the more specific responsibilities of the position will be to:
- Treat our patients with care and compassion;
- Receive urine and faeces samples;
- Record patient information;
- Complete online training via our eLearning training system; and
- Liaise with referrers and ancillary services in a hospital setting.
**About You**:
If you love helping others and have a background in customer service, retail, front-end reception, or any customer-facing position, this is the role for you
You will embark on a comprehensive paid training course during your first twelve months of working with us. Once you’ve completed your training, you will receive an SNP training certificate.
We are looking for someone who:

- Can work effectively by themselves as well as with other team members.
- Has the confidence to work independently.
- Displays efficient time management and problem-solving skills
Moreover, you will have a commitment to service excellence with good interpersonal and liaison skills.
If you do not have a current First Aid Certificate, that’s okay We will assist you in obtaining it.
Although not essential, previous experience working in the health, aged care or community sectors with a natural knack for caring for others will also be regarded highly.
