**Job Description**:
We are looking for a Foster Care Case Worker to join our growing Specialist Care Team on an on-going basis to provide intensive casework support to Specialist Care Households. You will be required to work remotely with limited supervision, undertake travel for regular home visits with foster carers, travel to other locations for intra and interagency meetings and have the ability to work outside normal office hours.

The role is based at Blair Athol with the option to hot desk at other sites by negotiation.

**The duties of this role include**:
Managing a caseload of carer households.
Providing casework through assessment, training, support, placement and advocacy.
Assisting with planning and facilitating of special events and support groups for carers and families.
Participating in the afterhours on-call rostered support of foster carers.
Assisting the placement co-ordinators with the process of matching and placement of children with approved foster carers as required.
