**Position Title**: Lead Clinician (CAMHS)
**Classification**: Registered Nurse Gr3, Social Worker Gr2, Occupational Therapist Gr2
**Hours per fortnight**: Up to 80 (with ADO for full time)
**Employment Status**: On Going Full Time and Part Time
**Other requirements**: COVID-19 Vaccination

**Your New Role**

Here at Bendigo Health, we’re currently seeking a Lead Clinician to join our Mental Health and Wellbeing Service.

In the context of an integrated community mental health team, and under the direction of the CAMHS Manager, Team Leader and Team Psychiatrist, CAMHS Lead Clinicians provide psychiatric intake, assessment and treatment, psycho-education and therapy for patients of Psychiatric Services and their families /carers. They also liaise and work closely with other services involved in the child and families care and offer secondary consultations to such services, as requested.

There are ongoing full and part time positions available in both our intake and case management teams based in Bendigo.

Our Child and Adolescent Mental Health team (CAMHS) provide a community-based service across the Loddon-Campaspe Southern Mallee region. We work with children and adolescents from 0 to 18 years who are displaying serious emotional, relationship, personal care or behavioural disturbances. We have a multi-disciplinary team, providing care five days per week.

Our service includes crisis assessment and treatment, referral to other services, case management, individual and family therapy, education and promotion activities. We also provide a range of specialised services including infant mental health assessments and the Autism Disorders Assessment Program.

**About You**

You'll be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, underpinned by sound clinical knowledge and experience. While you’re managing your own case-load, you’ll also be willing to pitch in and contribute positively as part of a close-knit regional team. Great organisational skills and attention to detail will ensure you can stay on top of your busy and varied workload.

A driver’s licence is essential, as you will be required to travel regularly throughout our region.
