**About the Role**

CareSouth is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Payroll Officer to join the payroll team in our Nowra office on a part-time, permanent basis.

Reporting to the Senior Payroll Officer, this pivotal role will be working collaboratively within the payroll team. As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for:

- Fortnightly end-to-end payroll processing for salaried and casual staff;
- Accurate data entry into the HRIS database; and
- Interpreting Award and employee contracts.

**We are looking for individuals who fulfil the following criteria**:

- Essential_
- Minimum 12 months experience in a payroll or accounts related role.
- Demonstrated sound working knowledge of Finance software systems.
- Advanced computer literacy and fluent in Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient organisational skills and the ability to prioritise.
- Ability to respond to and resolve complex queries with internal and external stakeholders.
- Willing to undergo a National Police Check and Working with Children Check clearance.
- Desirable_
- Relevant tertiary qualification or working towards.
