In 2023, the Health division expanded its digital and medical aesthetics offering with the acquisitions of telehealth provider InstantScripts, as well as the SILK Group, who operates a network of around 140 wholly-owned, joint venture and franchised clinics. The division employs more than 3600 team members.

**About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Analyst to join our Logistics team at API. Reporting to the National Logistics Manager, this role is essential for gathering and analysing data from various sources related to warehousing and transport. Utilizing advanced data analysis tools, you will interpret this information to provide actionable insights that inform our decision-making processes. Your analysis will help us to understand and track our service metrics and costs across daily, weekly, monthly, and annual intervals. The insights you generate will ensure we maintain top-tier service levels while optimizing productivity and efficiency in our logistics operations.

**What you’ll do:
- Produce weekly summaries on cost-to-serve and service metrics at a national level including gap analysis and service and cost improvement initiatives.
- Maintain real-time dashboards displaying daily cost-to-serve and service metrics.
- Develop comprehensive dashboards that highlight trends in key performance indicators (KPIs) for service and cost on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Conduct in-depth weekly analytics on service metrics, including delivery performance, carrier compliance, fleet usage, and route efficiency.
- Prepare detailed business summaries on cost-to-serve and service performance for various reporting periods.
- Collaborate with the National Logistics Account Manager to reconcile carrier invoices, service metrics against manifested data and perform gap analysis. Ensure all metrics are segmented by carrier, route, customer, business group, dispatch site, and geographic designation.

**What you’ll bring:
- At least 3 years of experience in analysing transport services and cost-related data as a data analyst
- Proficiency in Python, Excel, Tableau, and PowerBi at an advanced level
- Excellent mathematical and numeracy abilities
- Demonstrated expertise in data mining, evaluation, and visualisation
- Experience in technical writing for queries, reports, and presentations
- Familiarity with Manhattan, SAP, and Microstrategy at an intermediate level
- Knowledge of website scripting languages such as XML, JavaScript, and JSON
- Experience in Logistics or Transport is a must.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills Tertiary qualification in commerce, business, engineering, supply chain or similar
