An outstanding opportunity exists to join a global market leader and dominant force in the Australian gaming market. IGT is the world leader in the design, development and manufacture of gaming products and systems. IGT Australia provides a range of gaming products, systems and services to the Club, Hotel and Casino industries.
We have an office/test lab in Notting Hill however this role will be primarily a work from home role with occasional trips into the office for testing and other activities that cannot be completed at home.
**Role & Responsibilities**:
Interacts with Software Engineers and Managers at different levels; therefore, must possess strong verbal and written communication skills as well as strong personal interaction and leadership skills
- Designs software with clearly defined functional requirements
- Participates in the design of test cases for software module changes
- Develops quality software for transactional system
- Participates in the design and code reviews of other team members
- Ability to work with existing code design patterns
- Outstanding problem solver to design, troubleshoot, and make repairs on isolated modules
- Proficiency in Software Development, Software Design, Software Testing, Software Maintenance, Real-Time Issue Resolution, Software Configuration Mgt. Software Engineering Tools and Software Quality
- Adheres to software engineering standards.
**Required Skills**:
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field or its equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- Mid/Senior 3+ years Experience
- Working knowledge of C#, C++ programming languages
- .NET Framework 4.8 &.NET CORE 5
- PowerShell Scripting
- Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Working knowledge of OO Analysis/Design, Project Management, SDLC and Software Quality Processes
