Arborist

One of our clients, a local council within the Alexandra area, is looking for an Arborist to join their passionate team.

This Job is a casual role, however, will be for 38 hours per week and could lead onto gaining a full-time contract.

Your shift will start at 7.00am and will end at 4.00pm

Pay Rate: $36.62 Per Hour + Superannuation.

**You will Need**:
A current Australian Medium Rigid Drivers Licence.

Certificate III in Arboriculture

Clearance of Lines Training is desirable.

Knowledge of arboriculture theory and practice

Must be physically capable to perform tasks which involve some lifting, reaching, bending and the capacity to operate various hand tools, plant and equipment.

Experience in using power equipment such as chainsaws, tree loppers and chippers.

Relevant operational experience.

**You will be**:
Taking part in the maintenance and enhancement of trees in streetscapes, parks, garden and reserves.

Ensuring the safe and effective selection, operation and maintenance of plant, machinery, tools and equipment.

Ensuring plant and equipment is only used for its intended purpose and is operated in a safe manner by trained and competent operators.
