**The Role**:
The focus of your role will be on overseeing the property's Merino ewe flock, which totals around 8,000hd. You will be responsible for ensuring that they are well cared for and healthy, with a focus on producing fine wool and prime lamb. Additionally, you will be responsible for looking after the property's 1,500 Angus cows, which produce both Angus and F1 Wagyu calves.

In addition, the property also has approximately 800 hectares of grazing crops. You will be responsible for ensuring that these crops are well-managed and operations are carried out in a timely manner.

As part of a dynamic team of four, you will be working alongside three other experienced and dedicated professionals. You will have the opportunity to learn from others, share your knowledge and expertise, and work collaboratively to ensure the smooth running of operations.

**The Property & Employer**:
Our client is a private landholder of Australian agricultural assets, who has 17 properties in eastern Australia since 2007 covering over 70,000 hectares. The portfolio is strategically located throughout several different climatic regions and production systems, producing a variety of commodities, including prime lambs, wool, cattle, broadacre cropping of cereals and oilseeds, and irrigated cotton and sugar.

They aim to be an enduring market leader in the sustainable production of livestock and crops, with a continuous growth and improvement approach. The business holds strong values in ethics and care of land and animals, ensuring the highest quality and best practice standards are adhered to.

**The offer**:
The area is located 20 km southwest of Goulburn, 70 km northeast of Canberra, and 220 km southwest of Sydney. The property is also located under 2hrs from the beautiful South Coast. It has a wide range of amenities, including schools and supplies, which are easily accessible by a short drive.

Ideally, you will be someone who has a passion for agriculture, in particular livestock. The ability to develop existing skills and learn new skills is advantageous, and the willingness to work independently or as part of a team is necessary.

To succeed in this role, the following skills and prior experience are an advantage:

- Own working dogs
- Previous sheep and cattle experience.
- Grazing management experience
- Mechanically minded
- Great communication skills
- High attention to detail with high follow-through
- Follow all WH&S practices
- Sound understanding of all general farm maintenance and procedures
- The ability to lead a team.
