**We are working on exciting projects such as Marvel Studios’ What If ? Disney Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, the recently announced Avatar: The Last Airbender feature film, Flying Bark’s own 200% Wolf, and many others.**_**Overview**:
The **CG Generalist** is primarily responsible for establishing the look and surface qualities for animated characters, props and environments, along with the creation and maintenance of versatile high-quality models, surfacing, lighting and comp, under the guidance and direction of the technical and creative supervising crew.

**Here's what we're looking for**:

- _Portfolios with mature, graphic stylization of reality preferred. Somewhat in the vein of Spiderverse, Entergalactic, Arcane and The Witness [Love, Death, Robots] ;_
- 3D Generalist Portfolio/Demo Reel focused on model/surfacing/lighting and compositing in animated films / animated episodic;
- Strong 3D generalist skillsets; both artistically and technically;
- A thorough knowledge of the animation pipeline from modeling through texturing, lighting, rendering and compositing;
- Production experience in Katana/Arnold preferred;

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create organic and hard surface models based on art department concept and reference.
- Follow a brief and produce complex models to a high standard with a thorough understanding of shape, scale and form.
- Work within a brief and use 2D design reference to paint CG textures that are faithful to the style of the production;
- Create some UV maps as required, that adhere to pipeline requirements and are suitable for the resolution and complexity of the assets;
- Develop shaders for CG assets;
- Submit CG assets for review, rendering in a way that best indicates their use within the Series;
- Create and maintain the digital character and environment assets, responding to guidance and review notes from the director as well as creative and technical supervisors.
- Take direction from the Project's creative leadership, including Director, CG Supervisor and Asset Supervisor.
- Ensure digital assets meet standards and specifications with respect to appearance and aesthetics, user interface, performance, and robustness;
