**C&K Waterford Community Kindergarten** was opened in 2012. Our teaching team tailor each day’s learning taking into account the interests of the children in the group. The spacious environment at our kindy is thoughtfully planned and well resourced. There is a focus on music, drama, literature and visual arts and time spent discovering the outdoors.

Community spirit is important to us at C&K Waterford Community Kindergarten. We foster our strong ties to the local community by encouraging parent involvement in the daily operations of the kindergarten. We often hold and partake in community events and love connecting with local businesses and groups around us.

You will be working as a **Director Teacher** for a **Fixed Term part Time until the end of the year 8th December 2023** with a possibility of extension, **Monday, Tuesday and Alt Wednesday (37.5 hours per fortnight).**

Must be committed to continuous improvement, through a collaborative approach with colleagues, community, families, and children. Previous Director Teacher experience is desirable but not essential. An approachable leader amongst your community of families, children, and employees; with a hands-on approach to managing the service operationally.

**You will need to hold**
- Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent (recognised by ACECQA as an early childhood teaching qualification).
- First Aid, CPR and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
- Paid Blue Card or Exemption Card
- A Police Check current within 3 months or willing to obtain one

All C&K employees are required to undergo background checks which include a police check and, as a condition of employment, all employees are required to have 1st and 2nd COVID Vaccinations.
