Salary: $50,629 - $56,916 p.a. plus 10.5% Super

**About the role**
This is a
**6-month**,
**fixed term, full-time** position working
**38 hours** per week (Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 4.00pm) and will be based at
**Bomaderry - Works Depot**.

**Duties**
Reporting directly to the Team Supervisor - Northern Maintenance, the focus of this position is to:

- Undertake manual tasks including but not limited to shovelling, screeding, raking, digging, lifting and traffic control
- Operate and maintain small plant items such as chainsaws, plate compactors, jack picks, concrete saws, electric power tools, vegetation trimmers, etc
- To work under routine supervision and direction either individually or in a team environment on a range of projects
- Deliver quality workmanship in all tasks
- Complete standard paperwork such as timesheets and daily site safety checklists both handwritten and electronically.
- Any other tasks and activities within the construction/maintenance environment within the employees’ abilities.

**Skills & Experience**
In order to be successful in the position, you will be/ possess:

- School Certificate or equivalent
- Minimum of 12 months’ work experience in civil construction and/or maintenance activities
- Minimum NSW Class C Driver’s Licence or equivalent licence valid in NSW
- Current NSW General Construction Induction card (white card) or acceptable interstate alternative
- Proof of Australian residency or citizenship
