This is a fantastic opportunity to get on board with a leading mid-tier contractor and employer of choice. QLD owned & operated business with a focus predominantly on road projects although the company boasts a number of other successful results nationally.

We are looking for a Commercial Manager with a Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering background managing all project related commercial and contractual matters across a $100M TMR project and a team. Initial stages of the project will begin in the new year, so a fresh start to the project ensuring you have full control of commercial agreements, contracts, and cash flow.

While providing support to the delivery team in a commercial sense and reporting into the Project Manager, your duties will include:

- ** **Assist Project Manager in subcontractor and consultant management**:

- **Manage head contract variations and scope changes**:

- **Develop cost controls for projects and reporting requirements**:

- ** **Account finalisation of head contract and subcontracts**:

- **Manage a team of contract administration and accounts**

This is a highly rewarding role that will ensure long term employment with one of the heavy hitting mid -tier contractors. You will require a minimum of 10 years of similar experience in commercial management in civil construction preferably civil / main roads infrastructure. Experience with contractual disputes, negotiation solutions and client/stakeholder management.
