**Payroll Services Officer**

We are currently looking for
**a Payroll Services Officer **on a full-time basis working
**38 hrs per week. **We are looking for
**an immediate start, **contract is
**until Sept 2023 with potential for extension.**

**Location**:
**Leederville**

**Position Purpose**

As part of a team, provide a pro-active customer focused integrated Payroll and Human Resources service to employees and undertake small projects as directed

**Key Accountabilities**
- Undertake the processing of HR/Payroll records in a timely and accurate manner including base pay, allowances, deductions, Superannuation, Tax, new hires, terminations and employee movements.
- Create and maintain all organisation structures and positions
- Maintain all personal records in line with regulatory requirements including the creation of Personnel Files
- Provide the first point of contact for the production of HR and Payroll related reports
- Providing accurate and timely advice on employment conditions to all employees and managers
- Resolve issues with employees and managers in the interpretation of conditions of employment relating to entitlements and payments
- Coach employees and managers on the use of HR Self Service
- Coach managers and employees on the best use of SAP HR/Payroll information and reporting
- Seek and act on opportunities for pro-active communication with all customers and HR consultants.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Relevant experience in the interpretation of conditions of employment and relevant awards within a large and complex organisation
- Relevant experience in processing Payroll and/or Human Resources information in a large and complex computerised system
- Relevant experience in and demonstrated capability of providing customer related support and service for a large multi-functional commercial organisation.
- Knowledge of Minimum Conditions of Employment
- Knowledge of Superannuation and Taxation
- Ability to use complex computerised payroll systems and computer packages such as Excel, Word, Electronic Diary and Mail
- Progress towards formal Human Resources or related qualifications - desirable
- Experience in the use of SAP HR/Payroll module and/or Business Warehouse or in undertaking small projects - desirable
