**Science Unit**
This vacancy provides an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic team within the Health Economics and Research Division. The successful applicant will work within a small team to support the Health and Medical Research Office’s policy responsibility. This includes providing strategic advice on emerging health and medical research issues, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to contribute to the design of Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) grant opportunities and contributing to continuous improvement of MRFF funding strategies.

**Mission Strategy and Implementation**
This role supports the administration of the Medical Research Future Fund’s Research Missions. The successful applicant will support the development and management of Research Mission grants and provide policy advice and direction to stakeholders.

**Translation and Commercialisation**
The successful applicant will support the development and management of grants for the MRFF Preventive and Public Health Research and Medical
Research Commercialisation initiatives and provide policy advice and direction to internal and external stakeholders.

**Engagement and Strategy**
The successful applicant will support engagement with internal and external stakeholders and contribute to policy advice and development processes. They will also support the governance arrangements that enable the delivery of the Medical Research Future Fund and its initiatives.

**Program Management Office**
The successful applicants will support delivery of MRFF granting activities and expenditure through the provision of high-quality resources, reports and advice consistent with whole-of-government and program-specific policy and legislative requirements.
