**The role**

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Superintendent is responsible for managing the business accounting function.Â

Â

The role is responsible for:Â

Â

'¢ Controlling monthly dual currency accounting to ensure timely completion and reporting;

'¢ Managing the Accounts Payable team;

'¢ Managing, mentoring and developing the finance team:
'¢ Developing site reporting functions;

'¢ Reviewing monthly general ledger reconciliations;

'¢ Leading FBT compliance and reporting:
'¢ Preparing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts:
'¢ Managing quarterly and annual external audits;

'¢ Conducting compliance reviews;

'¢ Identifying opportunities to improve the finance and reporting functions; andÂ

'¢ Relieving the Finance Manager, as required.Â

Â

**Selection criteria**

Â

CPA/CA qualified, you will need substantial experience working in a senior accounting role (including management/supervision of staff) and have a strong background in mining. Knowledge of integrated accounting (ERP) systems, Pronto and Excel is required as well as knowledge of internal audit compliance procedures. Your excellent leadership and interpersonal skills will see you secure this dynamic role.
