**Key Accountabilities**:

- ensure a contemporary approach to design thinking
- ensure that all undertakings are student-focused
- ensure there is a strong relationship between the built environment, specifically in collaborative learning spaces, the human domain, contemporary learning and teacher pedagogy
- ensure that learning and teaching is personalised and that digital technology and other learning tools support students
- regularly provide students with formative feedback as part of the learning cycle
- perform other duties that are assigned by the Principal

**Key focus areas - 2pt Co-ordinator Learning Coach Mathematics**

The role of the Learning Coach is to be an activator of learning, ensuring that our Catholic Learning Community, staff and students are at the frontier of learning. In our distributive leadership model, this position will be critical in that they would both relationships with staff and students in the personalised professional learning, goal setting and coaching of teams. Seeking to assist the learner to continually co-evolve and create in a collaborative growth environment.

The Learning Coach:

- is a highly effective, skilled classroom practitioner
- works independently and inter-independently to improve their own practice and the practice of colleagues.
- is an active member of the College who contributes to their colleagues’ learning.
- inspires, guides, advises and leads others in across the broad curriculum.
- initiates, engages, leads and challenges in professional discussions
- maximises professional learning opportunities for students and staff
- has an in-depth knowledge of current learning agenda and inspires others to take risks in their learning
- models sound teaching practices across a range of teaching areas.
- works collaboratively with colleagues to plan, evaluate and modify teaching environments to improve student learning opportunities.
- keeps abreast of and seeks to be at the frontier of the latest developments
- skilled in analysing student assessment data and use it to improve teaching and learning.
- behaves ethically at all times. Their interpersonal and presentation skills are highly developed.
- they communicate effectively and respectfully with students, colleagues, parents/carers and community members.
