**About the Supply Planner Role**:
We are looking for a **Supply Planner** to join our global company - **AkzoNobel. **The role will be reporting to the **Supply Planning Manager** and based in our **Victoria** manufacturing and office in **Sunshine North.**

The role will see you be responsible for managing the demand of materials and goods, balancing between receiving goods from suppliers and fulfilling consumer orders and monitoring inventory to ensure enough material is on hand to meet the current demand of goods.
- **Track inventory** - monitoring of goods to ensure enough raw material to meet current consumer demands.
- **Liaising with suppliers** - communicating internally and externally to ensure raw materials are ordered and delivered on time, whilst maintaining strong and positive professional relationships.
- **Forecasting supply needs** - communicating changing consumer habits internally to adjust production and logistics needs to suit.
- **Negotiating prices** - negotiating material prices to better meet changing operational costs.
- **Coordinating order fulfillment** -project manage the supply chain process from raw material to finished goods to ensure a clear flow of goods and materials to be received on time.

**What we need from you**:
Ideally, you would have the following as it will provide a high chance of success for you and us
- Diploma or higher in any discipline
- Previous experience in supply chain and inventory management
- Excellent knowledge in MRP, SAP and excel
- Have good problem-solving skills, be a strong team player with good interpersonal skills and able to work cross-functionally;
- Have strong levels of resilience, able to work under pressure with little supervision, drive for results and quality oriented.
