**Job Description**:

- Your opportunity_

We are currently seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join our dynamic HR team in our Sydney head office. This role is a Maternity Leave contract for a period of 15 months (approx.). The target commencement date is 1st May 2023 to begin a comprehensive 8 week handover.

As a Payroll Coordinator for GUCCI you represent the brand to all customers and stakeholders. Reporting directly to the Head of Human Resources - ANZ, you will be responsible for managing all administrative and payroll functions for the business as well as managing HRIS systems and data integrity for all systems and locations.
- How you will contribute_
- Coordinating fortnightly payroll by liaising with internal management and Kering Shared Services, managing the end to end process
- Investigate, rectify and adjust all payroll discrepancies in a timely manner
- Coordinate with the end to end recruitment functions across Australia and New Zealand for all roles
- Prepare all employee contracts and manage the onboarding process by engagement with internal and external parties as required
- Manage and complete the end to end calculations and payments for commission and bonus payments
- Facilitate all maternity/paternity leave payments, engaging with internal and external bodies, such as government agencies to ensure correct payments are made in line with legislative requirements and leave policies
- Manage and coordinate end to end for all staff to receive benefits when applicable (i.e. birthday cards, health insurance, etc)
- Providing assistance and ensuring accuracy with the Company’s internal system (Workday, HRActual, etc)
- Act as the “Workday Champion” and be responsible for training new employees and managers in Workday
- Assist with the implementation of adhoc HR programs and projects (i.e. rolling out new systems, new commission/bonus schemes, etc)
- Manage internal HRIS portals data integrity as required
- Exit staff members from all internal systems upon the staff members’ departure
- Facilitate all WHS requirements in line with legislation requirements
- Manage all general HR administration for employee records and payroll

Work experience
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally from a high-volume retail or service-based industry preferably in the luxury environment
- Proven strong operational performance within a high volume and high turnover retail environment, leading a team. Other relevant service sector experience may be considered.

- Proficiency in using technology and/or learning about updated technologies
- Proficiency in Outlook/Excel/Word/PowerPoint
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
