The Galley Loader/Offsider is responsible for loading equipment/meals onto trucks, guiding the driver to various types of aircraft and moving equipment/meals from the truck to the aircraft galley according to customer guidelines while adhering to safety regulations.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Complete the gathering and timely load / off-load of catering material, assuring complete load security, coordinating with all necessary departments and duty manager.
- Load and unload aircraft in accordance with flight schedules, loading lists / labels and stowage into the correct galley positions.
- Liaise with the Transport Dispatcher (Dock Controller) in the case of injuries and accidents, absence of material, or any other irregular operations or block outs.
- Point of contact between Transport Dispatcher (Dock Controller) and driver whilst on tarmac.
- Comply with the regulations - e.g. Security & Safety.

**About you**:

- A current full driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Experience in a customer facing support or a similar role would be highly regarded.
- Experience working in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Availability to work a 24/7-day roster across morning, afternoon & evening shifts.
- Australian Citizenship, New Zealand Citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency.
- No criminal background.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
