Shipwright Boat Builder Apprentice

We are now seeking a Shipwright Boat Builder Apprentice to join our multi-skilled team on a full-time, permanent basis, 7.30am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday. Immediate start and ongoing.
The majority of our work is restoration and refit of timber vessels, a thorough understanding of fiberglass, gelcoat, metal work, paint work will be taught on the job and at Tafe.
We service all boats with a strong commitment to high-end quality of work and unparalleled service. As such, we are seeking an enthusiastic Shipwright Boat Builder Apprentice to join our busy team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Timber and fiberglass repairs and modifications on both sail and power boats, as well as custom fit outs and installations of systems.
- One day a week Tafe.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Genuine love of boats
- Able to work as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current driver’s license and own vehicle is a must.

Pay: $48,465.43 - $62,000.00 per year
