As a 1st Year Cabinet Making Apprentice, you'll have the opportunity to work side by side with seasoned experts in the field, acquiring the essential skills and techniques of cabinet making.

Throughout your apprenticeship, you will be employed by CCGT and will work day-to-day with our host employer in order to receive your on-the-job training in the industry.

**ABOUT THE HOST EMPLOYER**:
Our Host Employer has been in operation for 25 years and are a family owned business based in West Gosford. Their clients and projects vary from elaborate whole house fit outs to a budget apartment or granny flat kitchen. The Host prides themselves on their high quality services and workmanship and now have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Apprentice to join their enthusiastic and close knit team
**DESIRED QUALITIES**:
- Current driver's license
- Hold a current WHS white card
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
**KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Making furniture
- Joinery & assembly
- Use of hand/power tools & equipment
- General housekeeping
- Assisting with onsite installations
Working Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 3:36 pm, 38 hrs.
As part of this Apprenticeship, you will be PAID to study a Certificate III in Cabinet Making through OFF the Job Training over a period of 48 months at TAFE NSW - Newcastle Campus.
