We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join a client of ours for an immediate start. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful implementation and completion of construction projects. You will work closely with the project manager and various stakeholders to ensure efficient project coordination and delivery.

**Responsibilities**:
Project Planning: Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives in the construction field. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and relevant project records. Generate regular reports on project status, highlighting key milestones, risks, and issues. Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, such as contractors, suppliers, and local authorities, to coordinate construction project activities and ensure timely delivery. Resource Management: Collaborate with the project team to allocate resources effectively, ensuring that all necessary personnel, equipment, and materials are available when required for construction projects. Risk Management: Identify potential risks specific to construction projects and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on the project. Monitor and track project risks throughout the project lifecycle. Quality Assurance: Monitor construction project deliverables and ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications in the construction industry. Health and Safety Compliance: Support the implementation of health and safety protocols and regulations on the construction site. Conduct regular safety inspections and report any concerns or incidents related to construction safety. Budget Monitoring: Assist in monitoring construction project expenditures and track against the approved budget. Provide timely updates to the project manager on cost variances and potential risks to project finances. Change Management: Assist in managing change requests for construction projects, assessing their impact on the project, and communicating changes to relevant stakeholders. Team Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration among construction project team members, ensuring all parties are informed of project updates and requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field. Proven experience as a project coordinator or similar role, preferably in the construction industry. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in the context of construction projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex construction information in a clear and concise manner. Proficiency in project management software and tools relevant to construction projects. Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the construction industry. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities specific to construction challenges. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders involved in construction projects. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in construction work. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to construction project sites as required.
