**Job Description - Student Services (Front Reception)**

**Overview of role**

Front receptionists are responsible for the general administration and organization of student services.

The school and management encourage and look forward to ideas, thoughts, agreement and disagreement as we walk forward in a collaborative and respectful way through the operations, roles, projects and goals of the school’s undertakings.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

- Acting as the face for the school and greeting people when they come through the door
- Accepting student assessments and processing submissions
- Answering the phone, transferring calls and taking messages
- Preparing student orientation packs and assisting with orientation
- Helping students with questions and problems and leading them to the correct department
- Printing ID cards, certificates and letters of completion
- Assisting the director/administration manager with assigned tasks
- Doing coffee and/or snack runs for guests
- Ensuring the school is neat and tidy
- Maintaining the English Only Policy
- Attending general staff and team meetings and training sessions as assigned

**REPORTING**

The front reception reports directly to the Admin Manager.

**HOURS OF WORK**

Monday to Friday, Part-time 3pm - 7pm (20 hours: Monday to Friday), hours to be discussed prior to contract.
