UX/UI Designer

**UX/UI Designer**
- Gold Coast Location
- 12 Month Contract role

UX/UI Designer is required to support the design of systems and processes for products, features and flows that form a user experience across several platforms, delivering end-to-end user experiences that meet and fulfil approved specifications and business requirements across Health Service on the Gold Coast.

This role will require; highly developed knowledge and experience with Design Thinking and Agile frameworks and UX/UI design practices to design solutions; ability to liaise and consult with squad members and provide effective engagement; and the skills to understand detailed requirements and design end-to-end user experiences that meet customer needs and support Gold Coast Health ambitions.

**You will**:

- Provide support to the Senior UX/UI Designer on User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) solutions that connect user needs, business goals and technical realities to support design and process requirements
- Help to create end-to-end digital product, service and content design activities through discovery, ideation, research, prototyping and solution development, ensuring solutions are compliant with Information Management and Information Communication and Technology (ICT) policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures
- Design assets and interfaces for responsive web and other digital channels, producing UI concepts, mock ups, prototypes for research and testing purposes

**You will have**:

- 4+ years in an experience design role
- Knowledge and experience with Design Thinking and Agile frameworks (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Design Thinking / HCD, Lean)
- Extensive experience in using UX design practices to design solutions and a deep understanding of mobile first and responsive design
- Experience in delivering accessible products
