**Why Your Role Matters**:
The Project Officer plays an important role within the Conduct & Integrity Office (CIO) in providing project support to prevention initiatives that promote a culture of respect and integrity across UNSW. They assist the Project Manager in implementing the Gendered Violence Strategy and Action Plan, SpeakUp Strategy, and other CIO projects. Additionally, they raise awareness and understanding in other areas of CIO, such as student conduct & integrity, research integrity, complaints management and reports of wrongdoing.

Success in the role requires high levels of personal integrity, and will include significant staff and student stakeholder engagement, assisting in delivering training, communications and campaigns.

The role reports to the Project Manager and has no direct reports.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
- Demonstrated project experience, with an understanding of the project life cycle and development of project plans, objectives and documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to facilitate group discussions and deliver presentations when required.
- Adaptable to change.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of individuals and groups.
- Demonstrated awareness and understanding of gender-based violence, particularly in a tertiary education setting is desirable.
