Draftsperson

**About the Company**:
We are experienced and specialized in the field of metalwork engineering, particularly in the fabrication and installation of balustrades, handrails, swimming pool fences, bollards, fencing, and gates. We specialize in customized work, allowing our product range to be expanded upon at every opportunity.

**Job Summary**:
This person will be responsible for preparing shop drawings using CAD, managing shop drawings through all stages, and working with the operations management team during fabrications, supply, and installation process.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Project managing, coordinating, managing, designing shop drawings, as built drawings along with other associated activities from commencement to completion of the project.
- Attend site for site set up & client interaction. Instruct and supervise installers. Interpret and explain shop drawing. Mark up site for install of prefabricated panels/products/materials.
- Facilitate any needed design changes during construction and assemble as built/constructed plans.

**Skills & Experience required**:

- At least 2 years of experience as a draftsperson.
- Owns a car and a driver’s license.
- Basic project management skills.
- Good understanding on the commercial construction process.
- Experience using CAD models to technical standards.

**Pay**:
80k-100k AUD per year

**Working hours**:
7:00 am - 3:00pm **or** 8:00am - 4:00pm.
Monday-Friday and Half day Saturdays as required.

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
